Workcamp

Himalaya Seva Sangh organizes work camps in the Himalayan region, which is one of the oldest and most popular activity, attracting large number of volunteers interested in conservation and rejuvenation of Himalayas. Through work camps we intend to promote National and International solidarity while working with the Himalayan communities.

Work camps are of 10 – 15 days duration. Volunteers are expected to undertake 3-4 hrs of physical work apart from participating in discussions, interacting with local community and cultural exchange.

These work camps provide a good opportunity for volunteers, Indian and Foreigner to live and work together on a basis of self direction while developing mutual understanding and taking up practical tasks on ground with local communities for Nature conservation.
